Need Headphones?
As a teacher, I am constantly looking for things I can use in the classroom. One thing that we frequently need is more headphones. With more and more of our curriculum heading to the web, it makes sense to have a lot of headphones.
You don’t want to pay a lot, because it gets expensive and besides kids being kids the headphones can break or disappear. While scanning eBay this morning I came across this great deal on HEADPHONES , $39.99 for 48 sets of neckband headphones plus shipping (around $17 to Texas).
Imagine the possibilities. Use them at school, create a fundraiser, sell them at fleamarkets or sell them as corporate gifts. At .83 cents a piece it would be hard not to make money with these. These come and go, so take a gander while they are still there.
The seller also has sets with a built in microphones. I plan to get these for my summer class in podcasting, but they are also great for online gaming, SKype, and other audio IMs.
Bulk Pens and Pencils
As a teacher, I find that I go through a lot of pens and pencils. There other day I found bulk lots of mechanical pencils with funny sayings that would be perfect for my girls. You can see some these at PENCILS.
I also went look for and found some great deals for regular PENCILS and also some PENS.

While I was putting this site together, I was looking at a fellow BANS users site that features coffee. From there I found a great source of coffee.

Kids love these things. They are little tubes filled with a flourescent gel. When the stickes are bent, the internal lining is broken activating the flourscent light. They glow for about 6 hours and come in 5 or 6 different colors. Most packages also come with connectors so that the kids can create bracelets and necklaces with the glow sticks.

I love to buy wholesale/bulk!
I remember when Sam’s Club first came to town. We were amazed at how much money you could save by buying in large quantities. We bought 10 lbs of salt there 20 years ago and we still have some left. Oh, well.
Everytime I go into Sam’s or Costco I notice all the deli owners and cigarette store owners buying product for their stores. They wouldn’t do it if they couldn’t make a profit. The trick to buying in bulk is being able to use, sell, or give away the stuff you don’t need.
